The Energy Minister said that due to the war, an energy crisis is ongoing worldwide and prices are unstable. In this situation, the government is working to keep prices tolerable at the consumer level. Therefore, an attempt to raise prices by calling a strike over essential commodities will not be accepted; if necessary, the 1956 law will be enforced. To avoid public suffering, he called on businessmen to avoid the path of strike and resolve problems through discussion.
At the meeting, the problems of LPG traders were identified and discussed for resolution. The government will sit again with them this month on this matter.
