Allegations of hundi worth thousands of crores under the guise of perfume business, NBR investigating Al Haramain
The Central Intelligence Cell (CIC) of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) is investigating Al Haramain Perfumes on allegations of operating one of the country's largest hundi operations under the guise of the perfume business and smuggling thousands of crores of taka abroad. The agency said that preliminary investigations have found important information and evidence against the company. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
