According to sources from the Directorate of Primary Education, Primary and Mass Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon will officially announce the results at a press conference at the Secretariat on Thursday morning.
This year, a total of 82,500 students will receive scholarships. Among them, 80 percent are from government primary schools and 20 percent are from private primary schools and kindergartens. Scholarship recipients will be given financial benefits in two categories: 'Talentpool' and 'General Grade'.
The scholarship exams were held simultaneously across the country from April 15 to 18. However, in the three hill districts—Rangamati, Khagrachari, and Bandarban—the exams were held from April 17 to 20 according to a special schedule.
This year, the total number of examinees was over 640,000. Among them, about 550,000 were from government primary schools and about 90,000 were from private primary schools and kindergartens.
How to check results
According to the Directorate of Primary Education, after the results are published, guardians will be able to know the results through two mediums.
Online: By entering the IPEMIS portal of the Directorate of Primary Education.
Via SMS: Results can be collected using a designated mobile message method. Relevant instructions will be provided at the time of result publication.
