This information was announced in a notice from the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee on Friday (July 10).
The postponed exams are:
- HSC
- Alim
- HSC (BMT)
- HSC (Vocational)
- Diploma in Commerce Exam 2026
The notice stated that the decision was made based on reports from the district commissioners of the districts under the Chattogram Education Board and the request of the board's exam controller.
As a result of this decision, examinees of the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board under the Chattogram Education Board will also be covered by the postponement.
However, the scheduled exams of other education boards across the country except the Chattogram Education Board, and of the Madrasa and Technical Education Boards in districts outside the Chattogram region, will be held as per the previously announced schedule.
The new schedule for the postponed exams will be announced later through a notice.
