Referring to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's announcement of returning to the country, former Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal Mohammad Tajul Islam said, 'We are ready with a special garland of rope for the autocrats who have announced their return to the country from Delhi by specifying a date.' At the same event, various speakers also spoke about the July mass uprising, the trial of the Awami League, and the rehabilitation of the families of the martyrs.

Former Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal Mohammad Tajul Islam has commented that a 'special garland of rope' is ready for the autocrats who have announced their return to the country from Delhi by specifying a date.

He made this comment on Saturday (July 11) afternoon at a special 'Audio-Visual Publication Series' event of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Segunbagicha, Dhaka, while referring to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's return to the country.

Tajul Islam said that the individuals ousted through the mass uprising are now publicly announcing dates for their return to the country. At the same time, the activity of their supporters on social media has also increased. In his words, such a situation is a manifestation of the state's failure.

He said, "We are ready with a special garland of rope for the autocrats who have announced their return to the country from Delhi by specifying a date."

At this time, emphasizing the importance of preserving the history of the July mass uprising, he said that it is necessary to produce quality films based on July to commemorate the sacrifice of the martyrs and to present that history to the new generation.

At the event, Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Mia Golam Parwar said that one of the ways to repay the debt of the blood of the martyrs of the July mass uprising is to implement the aspirations of July and build a just, non-discriminatory state. He called for the speedy implementation of the July Charter and proper rehabilitation of the families of the martyrs and the injured.

Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal Aminul Islam said that investigations are ongoing against the banned Awami League and preparations are underway to bring the party to justice. He further said that if necessary, the number of tribunals will be increased to expedite the trial of the July killings.

State Minister for Liberation War Affairs Ishraque Hossain and Rokeya Begum MP, mother of July martyr Jabed Ibrahim, along with various individuals, were present at the event.
