The reception was held at Muladi's Shaheed Buddhijibi Altaf Mahmud Auditorium at 9:30 am on Friday (August 21). At the event, meritorious students who got A+ in SSC and Dakhil examinations and those who received talentpool scholarships in classes 5 and 8 in Muladi upazila were honored. Certificates and crests were handed over to the students.
The event was presided over by Dr. Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, president of Muladi Forum, Dhaka, while Muladi Upazila Executive Officer Golam Sarwar was present as the chief guest. The program was conducted by the organization's vice president Ikhtiar Uddin Oli.
Successful sons of Muladi from various professions, including engineers, doctors, teachers, professors, politicians and social workers, were present.
The speakers said that the success of students is not limited to good results. They must build themselves as worthy citizens through the combination of knowledge, morality, humanity and patriotism. Such recognition of meritorious students will inspire them to do even better in the future.
The organizers said that the main objective of this program is to stand by the meritorious students of Muladi and encourage the future generation. If students get to connect with successful professionals, they will be more inspired about their future careers and responsibilities towards society.
A festive atmosphere was created while handing over crests and certificates to the students. Parents also praised such an initiative. The speakers expressed hope that these meritorious students will play important roles in various fields of the country and society in the future.
