Prime Minister Announces Zero Tariffs on Raw Materials, Special Incentives for Semiconductor Industry
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has announced the withdrawal of all tariffs on raw materials and the provision of special incentives to develop the country's semiconductor industry as a national priority sector. Simultaneously, he revealed the rollout of a BDT 5 billion (500 crore) startup grant, export incentives, and investment-friendly policies to accelerate the sector's growth.
